Bernard Barbour, who holds an LLM degree in European law from Lausanne University, Switzerland, and an LLM degree in International Economic Law from Geneva University, Switzerland, a B.A. in Law from the Lebanese University, and a Diploma in English Legal Methods from Cambridge University, England, served as a Senior Attaché in the Legal Department of the Central Bank of Lebanon between 1997 and 2007. Bernard Barbour, who is the General Counsel of Mayhoola For Investments, also serves as Board Member at European Finance House s.a.r.l., Luxembourg and Ambit Pvt. Ltd. (Investment Bank). Barbour has extensive experience in financial legal systems, as well as previous work on legal and regulatory matters, and an academic career teaching financial, fiscal and contract law at leading universities in Lebanon. Bernard Barbour is a Member of the Board of Beymen Group.
