OUR STORY
The inception of Beymen, which is currently positioned a top the most prestigious brands leading the fashion and shopping industries in Turkey, tells a story of vision and courage that started towards the end of 1960s. In 1969, Ali Osman Boyner, leveraging his family's experience in textiles, founded the Beymen brand. Beymen opened its first store in 1971 in Şişli, the most prestigious shopping district of Istanbul at that time. The brand, powered by its innovative and creative approach, started penning its groundbreaking success story with its men's collection in that store. The men's collection, which quickly attracted a great deal of attention, was followed by a women's collection.
Beymen started out as a clothing brand, but in the early 1990s, the brand took its first major leap towards becoming the most important player in the Turkish fashion and shopping industries by introducing luxury fashion retail in Turkey, curating multiple world-renowned luxury fashion brands under its roof. Following this innovative move, which was one of the turning points of the brand, Beymen opened Beymen Akmerkez, its first flagship store, in 1994.
Beymen's sound progress is based on having showcased its visionary and creative philosophy to its employees and customers since day one. Supporting those under its roof and empowering them to reveal their creative side is coded in Beymen’s DNA.

Beymen Nişantaşı store and Beymen Brasserie, opened in 2003, have become centers of attraction for the people of Istanbul with their atmosphere and flavors.
In 2007, the first boutiques of international brands such as Bottega Veneta, Moschino, Celine, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro and Jimmy Choo in Turkey opened in İstinyePark. Added to this were the Beymen Zorlu Center opened in Zorlu Center in 2013 as Turkey's largest fashion store and the boutiques of world-famous fashion brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Balmain, Balenciaga and Stella McCartney.
In addition to bringing global brands to its customers at its stores, Beymen also established its own brands, Beymen Collection and Academia. These two brands continue to deliver trending collections every season.
Moreover, Beymen channeled its unique retail experience into online shopping and launched Beymen.com. Adopting a holistic lifestyle, Beymen.com offers a wide selection of brands and products from sports, technology and decoration, as well as fashion.
