Sustainability in fashion embraces a wide range of areas that includes design, production, shopping habits, how long people use their clothes and accessories, and what happens when they're done with them. The Beymen Promise inspires us to work together towards a better future. Our sustainable business practices are all about making a positive impact on this world of ours. As declared in the Beymen Group's Sustainability Manifesto, we champion circular fashion through adherence to business models that are sensitive, respectful, fair, and equitable.

About Our Goals with Beymen Promıse
The Environmental Working Group is actively working to help the entire Beymen
Group achieve its
ambitious sustainability targets: zero-waste operations by 2030 and net-zero emissions across
its value chain by 2050. We're actively tracking our environmental impact by calculating our
energy and water consumption and measuring our carbon emissions. We're committed to
sustainable
operations across our business landscape. Our Beymen Campus building is now I-REC and
zero-waste
certified, and we're working to have our stores certified as well.
The Circular Fashion Working Group is focused on expanding access to circular
fashion
initiatives like Beymen Reborn (luxury second-hand sales) and Beymen Repair (product repair
services). The group is working to develop these projects and to increase the range of
products
offered.
The Corporate Governance Working Group is responsible for ensuring that
Beymen
Group employees
comply with ethical principles and for monitoring any violations of them.
The Supply Chain Working Group works with Beymen Group's suppliers to build a
more sustainable
supply chain. The group tracks suppliers' progress and helps them comply with Beymen Group's
sustainability requirements. We're actively working to improve sustainability throughout our
supply chain. This includes auditing our suppliers' environmental and social practices and
supporting their ESG-focused transformations.
The Product & Recycle Working Group is focused on increasing the number of
sustainable products
offered by Beymen Group. It is also responsible for implementing recycling projects for
specific
brands. We've created a clear definition of what qualifies a product as sustainable. Using
this
definition, we are identifying which of our imported and private label products comply with
these standards. We're actively working to increase recycling through partnerships and
initiatives that provide best-practice examples for the industry to follow.
The Packaging Working Group is working to reduce single-use plastics used in packaging to 8% by 2030 and also to ensure that all of our paper-based packaging is 100% FSC-certified by the same year.
The People Working Group is focused on fostering a diverse, equitable, and
inclusive workplace
across Beymen Group. This group also champions the empowerment of women in all aspects of
life.
We are proud to be a signatory to United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and are
implementing our goals in line with our commitment to achieving a fair and equitable workplace
environment.
